Mountain Man Stage - Saturday - THE HOT TWO musical
extravaganza "TOO MANY BANJOS!"--featuring everything anyone ever wanted to know
about America's premier musical instrument. Wait there's more! Big banjos!
Little banjos! Banjos with music spanning 150 years of American tunefulness! THE
HOT TWO performs the gamut of hot banjo music from 19th century minstrel songs
(on five string banjo) to Irish hornpipes (on melody banjo) to ragtime (on banjo
guitar). Don't miss this opportunity to get your fill of banjo with THE HOT TWO
and "TOO MANY BANJOS!"
- Sunday - THE JIG'S UP - northern Nevada's famous old-time contra
dance band holds forth with genuine old-time fiddle music. Fiddle, cowbell, bass
and guitar, this four piece group plays old-time dances in both Carson City and
Reno. Look for plenty of toe tapping to jigs, reels, hornpipes and waltzes.
Native American Village - Saturday -
Eagle Wings
Pageant Dancers present traditional Great Basin Native dances.
- Sunday - Sage Spirit Dancers from Fallon dancers and drum
circle.
Kid's Stick Horse
Rodeo Games - In the Civil War Battlefield -
Saturday - 1 - 2 PM. Ages 2 to 13 can participate free.
Stick Horse Rodeo
includes Stick Horse Barrel Racing, Stick Horse Trail Ride, Stick Horse Race.
Gentle Horses Provided. Prizes awarded. Join the Western Fun!
Horseshoe Tournament - Toss for fun and prizes.
Double-elimination non-sanctioned tournament on Saturday starting at 11 AM.
